     Math:   The goal is memorization (2-3 second recall), not fast finger counting or counting in
      your head. 
      You can use flashcards, computer programs, and math learning games to make fact memorization fun. On the
      5 minute addition and subtraction timed tests, students are expected to have a 90% mastery by the time they
      get to third grade.  On the addition and subtraction combinations test to 12, students are only allowed two
      errors to advance to the next combination test. 

     
     To the side are two practice timed tests.  We encourage you to make copies and practice these at home.
